Gracia's work addresses the health of migrant and refugee populations globally, with a particular focus on the mental health of migrants and refugees in low- and middle-income settings. She was previously based at the Shoklo Malaria Research Unit, where she worked with migrant and refugee women living along both sides of the Thailand-Myanmar border. Gracia's current work assesses the mental health of women in India during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
