Migration Oxford is an initiative and network that brings together academics working on migration and mobility from across the University of Oxford's research centres, divisions, and departments to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborations.

Founded in 2017 and formerly known as the Migration and Mobility Network, Migration Oxford has been generously supported by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities (TORCH) and since 2019 has been hosted by the Global Exchange on Migration and Diversity, the 'knowledge exchange' arm of the Centre on Migration, Policy, and Society (COMPAS).

What we do

Migration Oxford organises networking and interdisciplinary academic events in addition to promoting relevant opportunities and calls of interest via our newsletter. Through our podcasts and by featuring the profiles of scholars working on migration and mobility on this website, Migration Oxford aims to facilitate access to the University's expertise and research on migration and mobility, promoting knowledge exchange between scholars and the public.
