Ashwiny's work examines autobiographical refugee narratives, documentaries and blogs and focuses on refugee children in particular. Through qualitative methods and collaborations with charities and refugee-led organisations, her research looks at refugee children's experiences in camps as well as resettled refugee children's experiences in cities in the UK.
